Heat Levels

These are optional rules, for if the party plays too much with Law Enforcement

  • Lowest Heat
    2 Beat Cops (BC’s): Will attempt to “process” PC’s depending on Crime. Bribe or Persuade/Fast talk is applicable. Difficulty is 25 +/- 5 depending on crime/rep each.
    If engaged violently, one calls for backup
    • Squad Car: 1D6+3 minutes
      or
    • Police AV-4 in 1D4+2 minutes
  • Low Heat
    5 Beat Cops, 1 Police Sergeant: Team stays in pairs at the minimum, prefers moving as a single group, two at the most. They seek to disable/stop PC’s, not in a talking mood. Still can be bribed, 10k Eb+, Persuade/Fast Talk Dif 30 +/- 5
  • Mid-Low/Backup
    1 Patrol Car with 2 Beat Cop’s & 1 K-9
  • Volcanic – MILITARY FORCE
    2 Troop Transports with 16 Soldier, Green‘s each, 4 Soldier, Veteran’s each, 2 AV-4’s, 1 AV-9, Air support
    USE OF ORTILLERY IS AUTHORIZED
    The Military will not play around, they will destroy a building to remove the threat of a lone sniper, fire as a company on a single target. They may be often joked about, but Choomba, they are a very serious threat.
